The aim of this volume is to present a cross section of research carried out at the University Language Centres (ULCs), focusing on the use of technology for L2 teaching, in particular the development of listening skills. UCLs are service, research and technological innovation centres that deal with the training and assessment of the language skills of university students and external users in the territory. They, therefore, have a fundamental role in the internationalisation of universities and in developing students’ skills for their future professional workplace. This volume presents innovative, immersive and flexible language teaching tools and methods mainly to better develop listening skills. It highlights the methodological changes that have emerged during the pandemic and consequently the massive use of new technological tools.
