Abstract
This volume is dedicated to a reflection about “practical-inert” that Sartre has analyzed in the Critique of Dialectical Reason and in the Family Idiot. The prevalence of matter and antihumanistic aspects, the role played by inertia, by passivity and by objective constraints, today acquire great significance in the age of industrialization and computerization that have transformed our social life. The thought of Sartre opens up a critical space and a point of reference to read and to interpret it.
