Abstract

The volume brings together a selection of the contributions presented during the 2025 Research Days of the Department of Economics at Roma Tre University. The initiative forms part of a process launched in previous years and is now moving toward consolidation as a periodic occasion for discussion and for the promotion of departmental research. The Research Days were created with the aim of providing a shared space for scientific debate, capable of highlighting the variety of research lines developed within the Department and fostering dialogue among different perspectives, methods, and disciplinary fields. The contributions collected in this volume represent only a portion of the papers presented and discussed during the 2025 edition, yet they offer a meaningful account of the heterogeneity of the topics addressed and of the pluralism of approaches that characterize the Department’s scientific community. Through theoretical, empirical, and applied analyses, the volume provides an articulated view of particularly relevant economic, social, institutional, and productive issues, emphasizing the capacity of economic research to interpret complex transformations and contribute to public debate. The collection is addressed to a broad readership, including scholars, students, experts, and readers interested in exploring the most recent developments in economic research and its connections with contemporary processes of change. The volume is completed by a set of summaries of the Projects of Relevant National Interest funded at the Department in the most recent calls, which testify to the vitality, variety, and national and international reach of the research activity carried out.
